99.9% of Total School Candidates Given O-Level
Certificates in Singapore
Of a total of
34,124 school aspirants who took O-level examination for Singapore-Cambridge General
Certificate of Education in 2013, 99.9% have been given certificates. In 2014,
32,645 candidates have got 3 or more O-Level passes and 28,221 have obtained 5
or more O-Level passes.
Out of 4,170
students of 2103 Secondary 4 Normal Academic Course who took O-Level
Examination in one or more subjects, 90.3% have got one O-level pass as a
minimum. Also, of a total of 2,615 aspirants who sat for the exam as private
candidates, 90.3% have been given certificates.
While school
candidates were able to know their positions after the results were declared by
their respective schools on the 13th of this month, all private
entrants will be sent their results through post. They can also visit the official website of the Singapore
Examinations and Assessment Board to see their results.
